TGA approves vaccine for children aged five to 11

The Therapeutic Goods Administration has provisionally approved the Pfizer vaccine for children aged five to 11.

It found the jab to be safe and effective and that it is in the interests of children to get vaccinated.

Around 2.3 million children will be able to get the jab from January 10 – subject to approval from ATAGI.
