Police are searching for a man after a 15-year-old boy was punched and hit in the head with a glass bottle.
A teenager has been punched and hit in the head with a glass bottle in an early morning altercation in the Sydney CBD on Monday.
The 15-year-old was walking with friends along Barrack St at around 3:45am when he began arguing with a man.
Police say the man approached the teen and punched him in the head, knocking him to the ground, before he was struck over the head with a glass bottle.
The man left the area with a group of people and was last seen walking along King St.
Paramedics treated the teen for head and facial injuries and he was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
He is described as being of caucasian appearance, aged in his 20s, of medium build, with black, short hair and a beard.
He is shown wearing a grey hooded jumper, black jeans and shoes and carrying a black jacket.
