‘Real sense of shock’ after Queen’s death

Former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Alexander Downer says there was a “real sense of shock” after the Queen died at 96.

“I went past Buckingham Palace … and crowds were gathering there very quietly and they were extremely sombre,” he told Sky News Australia.

“So I think that will be the mood of the country.”
