Labor’s campaign is ‘not going well’: Kenny

Labor's campaign would probably be in better shape now if Anthony Albanese had been in isolation in the first week, says Sky News host Chris Kenny.

"Would've stopped him making all those mistakes probably," Mr Kenny said.

"Labor's campaign is not going well. Albo was at a loss on unemployment numbers, all at sea on border protection, and now Labor's attack over the Solomon Islands has blown up in their face, highlighting their weakness over China.

"So Labor and Albanese need to regroup, and rethink their strategy."

The Opposition Leader has been forced to rush his senior shadow cabinet ministers onto the federal election campaign trail while he isolates from his Sydney home after he returned a positive test to coronavirus.
