The sudden passing of the award-winning rapper Riky Rick has left many fans and celebrities in disbelief, and many have taken to social media platforms to pay tribute to the later superstar.
Award-winning rapper AKA penned a lengthy message on Instagram talking about suicide. He revealed that he knows at least 5 people who have committed suicide, and he said 4 of them are men.
“I’ve seen so much suicide over the last year I can’t even feel anything anymore,” he wrote.
Speaking about Riky’s passing, AKA said he hopes that people can address the issue of how damaged and broken South African men are.
Wrapping up his message, The Supamega urged people to love and take care of each other.
“Please, can we RESET and go back to FAMILY VALUES?!. Can we (myself included) start going to Church Again? Please, can we start some sort of dialogue about MEN in this country because it’s our duty to protect you, to provide and care for you? We cannot make this thing work without each other. We are crying out for your help. This is so traumatic,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, tributes are continuing to pour in for Riky Rick. He reportedly committed suicide yesterday, 23 February, and was found by his management at his house still alive, but he died on the way to the hospital.
