If a policeman enters my car and orders me to drive, he is a kidnapper – Rudeboy PSquare – Entertainment SA

Popular Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy has stated that any police officer that enters his car and tells him to drive, is a criminal or a kidnapper. 

Rudeboy’s post comes following the arrest of Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince for allegedly abducting and assaulting a police officer in Lagos. 

Singer Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy shared his opinion on Law-enforcement agents who always like to enter the car of someone deemed to have committed an offense. 

According to the singer, any policeman that enters his car and orders him to drive, is a criminal or a kidnapper. 

The Police had last Friday prosecuted Ice Prince on three counts, which bordering on assault, obstruction, and abduction of a policeman. All charges to which the rapper had pleaded not guilty. 

The court had earlier granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 and asked him to provide two witnesses. 

The court also ordered his remand at the Ikoyi correctional facility until he meets the bail conditions. 

Meanwhile in a recent development, During ice prince’s trial on Wednesday, the prosecution’s lawyer asked the court to adjourn the case, citing the absence of his two witnesses. 

Folarin Dalmenida, the lawyer to the musician, presented the two witnesses to the court. 

H. O. Omisore, the judge, thereafter adjourned the case till October 24 for the continuation of trial. 

Operatives of the Ikoyi correctional facility revealed that the rapper will remain in custody until he perfects his bail conditions, adding that the court will evaluate the sureties brought by the singer and determine if he should be released or not.
