Former Communications Secretary to the then Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall Patrick Harverson says he would like to see Princes William and Harry reconcile over the death of their grandmother.
“Grief brings people together, if you lose someone in the family – especially this sort of matriarch – everyone comes together,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“I think that naturally creates a different mood and can heal some wounds between family members.”
Mr Harverson also said the close proximity between the princes can allow them to communicate much easier than when Prince Harry is in California.
“They’ve same country, the same building, and the same streets I think will help,” he said.
“I fervently hope that good will come of it.”
