Morrison said he will be watching the results tonight with his wife Jenny, his daughters and his mum, while Albanese said earlier if he wins there may be a return of his DJ skills.
Morrison added Australians will do different things on election night and segued into what his government will do if it is elected again.
“I am sure that people will be doing all sorts of things tonight. Some will be watching the footy, some will watch the results and some will get together and have a nice meal together,” he said.
“You know, I have always believed in public life that Australia’s strongest when families are strongest.
“It breaks my heart when I see families break down.
“It breaks my heart when I see the things that put pressure on families.”
He said this is why his government is working to get Australians into jobs.
