Australia to hold 14 days of commemorations following death of Queen Elizabeth


Australia has joined the world in paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth II with 14 days of commemorations culminating in a national memorial service. 

During her 70 years on the throne, the Queen visited Australia 16 times and welcomed 16 prime ministers. 

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Governor General David Hurley will travel to London for the funeral next week.
