‘A glass of Pol Roger’ in remembrance of Queen Elizabeth II


Emperor Champagne CEO Kyla Kirkpatrick says many Australians will be paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth II by lifting "a glass of Pol Roger".

"Queen does have the right to issue a royal warrant …  a good or service regularly delivered and serviced in Buckingham Palace and within the Royal family," Ms Kirkpatrick told Sky News Australia.  

"There were seven champagne houses that received the royal warrant ... most commonly, she was rumoured to have a glass of Bollinger. 

"But more frequently, rumoured to have a glass of Pol Roger most nights."
